LSU's 50th Annual Perio Review: The 2½ Day Comprehensive Review & Update Program + 1½ Day Mock Oral Board Exams

The overall Perio Review program is for periodontists preparing to take the Oral Exam (Part II) for certification by the American Board of Periodontology. It consists of 2½ days of comprehensive review and 1½ days of mock oral board exams. This four-day program is designed to maximize your literature review and update efforts and improve your oral test-taking skills and self-confidence.

Alfredo R. Arribas, DDS, MS, is an assistant professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry in Houston, Texas. Dr. Arribas received his DDS from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia School of Dentistry in Lima, Peru and completed the following post-doctoral programs: AEGD certificate from Baltimore College of Dentistry, a two-year GPR certificate from LSU School of Dentistry, a MS in healthcare management from University of New Orleans School of Business, and a four-year oral surgery residency at LSU School of Dentistry.

Kitrina Cordell, DDS, MS is Chair of the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at LSU School of Dentistry (LSUSD). Dr. Cordell earned her DDS and MS in oral and maxillofacial pathology from The Ohio State University. Dr. Cordell is member of the North American Society of Head and Neck Pathology, a tripartite member of the American Dental Association, a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.

LSUCDE video courses are live-streamed via Zoom. CE administrators perform roll call and random check-ins via the chat window in Zoom. If you miss one or more check-ins it could affect your credits. Before the course you will receive three links: a link to the meeting, a link to a short test, and a link to a course evaluation. You must submit the test and evaluation in order to receive credit.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

The registration fee is partially refundable (minus an administrative fee) if you cancel your registration thirty (30) days before the start of the course. Any cancellation after this deadline will result in forfeiture of the entire tuition. Written cancellation requests can be submitted by email to CDE@lsuhsc.edu. LSU Health New Orleans Continuing Dental Education (LSUCDE) reserves the right to cancel the course should circumstances warrant such action. Full refunds of registration fees would be made in that event. However, LSUCDE is not responsible for any related costs or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines.
