Description:

Overview & Learning Objectives

Our discussion will center around using digital technology to improve the quality of restorative dentistry. We will consider first the comprehensive treatment of missing single teeth using dental implants. Second, we will focus on the potential impact of digital denture technologies on the treatment of edentulism. After participating in this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Understand how combined radiographic and surface scanning technology enables excellence in implant treatment planning,
  • Appreciate the importance of CAD/CAM based precision in restorative dentistry,
