Christopher J. Spencer, DDS, Cert. Orofacial Pain

Christopher J. Spencer, DDS, Cert. Orofacial Pain has been active in the field and specialty of Orofacial Pain since his two-year fellowship at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Craniofacial Pain with Dr. Henry Gremillion. Following the completion of this program, he became the clinical director of the Parker Mahan Facial Pain Center. Dr. Spencer has provided clinical care of orofacial pain patients, education of both predoctoral and postdoctoral students, and orofacial pain consultations for many departments. He has also had the privilege as a clinician of advancing to an associate professor and professor levels at both the University of Florida and then the LSU Health Sciences Center College of Dentistry. Dr. Spencer is grateful for the opportunity to publish multiple articles in peer reviewed journals and book chapters as part of LSU’s orofacial pain group. He is presently an adjunct faculty member at LSU following retirement and continues to teach in the Orofacial Continuum and lecture.
