Steve Carstensen, DDS, FAGD, Diplomate AADSM is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in dental sleep medicine, holding multiple fellowships and diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Based in Bellevue, WA, he has treated sleep apnea and snoring since 1998 and serves as an ADA consultant while leading its Children’s Airway Initiative. An educator, author, and co-founder of Dental Sleep Practice Magazine, he lectures globally, teaches at the Pankey Institute, and contributed to A Clinician’s Handbook for Dental Sleep Medicine. He received the 2023 AADSM Distinguished Service Award.
